Micro convex

Micro convex ultrasounds  are similar to Convex probes (also called curved linear probes) that have a curved array that allows for a wider field of view at a lower frequency with an Electronic array scanning mode.

Micro convex transducer is Downsized to reduce patients’ burden. It is also designed to keep a wide angle of view, high sensitivity, and broad bandwidth.

These types of probes are primarily used for abdominal scans due to their wider depth and deeper penetration

Micro convex ultrasounds have a smaller curve and are thinner smaller transducers with a much smaller contact surface, which improves the coupling between the transducer and the skin surface even in complicated areas such as the supraclavicular or jugular fossa. The micro convex probe is also used in gynecological diagnostic.
