The Handheld portable Ultrasound Scanner has a micro convex side. The latter have a much smaller contact surface, which improves the coupling between the transducer and the skin surface even in complicated areas such as the supraclavicular or jugular fossa. Microconvex probe is also used in gynecological diagnostics.
On the other side, a linear-type probe with 7.5 MHz to 10 MHz frequency. The ultrasound machine can be used at various locations beyond the cath lab, including the ICU, the EP lab, the OR, and for ultrasound-guided procedures at the bedside.
