Ocular ultrasonography is an important adjunct for the clinical assessment of various ocular and orbital diseases. The  Ophthalmic Digital Ultrasound Scanner OPHTHA2-CD enables operators to easily image the anterior and posterior segments of the eye; providing important information that are not possible to detect with clinical examination only.

The Ophthalmic A/B Scanner OPHTHA2-CD with normal, vitreous body enhancement, retina observation mode is  mainly used for diagnosis of intraocular diseases, display the location, shape range of the focus of infection and the relationship with the surrounding tissue. Can be diagnosed vitreous opacity, retinal detachment, eye base tumors etc. eye diseases. A scan is used to measure anterior chamber depth, lens thickness, axial length and calculate diopter of implant IOL as well.
